Mark April 4 in your calendar! This is the day when the new Kaizers album "Maskineri" is finally released in Europe as well. And right after, Kaizers Orchestra will be back on tour in Europe!
And there's only one thing that we fans can do to make sure that the concert places are packed and the atmosphere is fantastic, and also that the new album sells really well, so that maybe next time, we won't have to wait a month for the new album. Namely advertise Kaizers Orchestra!
Now, what could we possibly do? A whole lot! For example call the radio stations and wish for Kaizer songs (calling is much more impressive than sending an email, but emails are a good start as well, of course). Create some nice advertising banners and put them on your blog, in a forum or on MySpace. Write letters to music magazines. Publish a review of the album. Force people to come along to the concerts (or even better: convince them - like this they might even bring a friend! =;-)). Hand out flyers in the city center before a Kaizers concert. Or choose a nice spot on the side walk and sing Kaizer songs! Wear a Kaizers shirt for your job interview. Go to some record stores and try to convince them to have a signing session with Kaizers. Suggest Kaizers for all the big festivals - and the small ones as well. So basically, do whatever you can think of, as long as it makes Kaizers even more popular.
One thing is important of course: Do not spam. It's nice to start some discussions, but make sure nobody will think bad about Kaizers just because you did something annoying. Always keep in mind that we want to help Kaizers and not cause anybody to dislike them.
Now - why would you want to do that? The answer is easy: To help Kaizers gain glory, fame, and Kontroll på kontinentet!
Or maybe simply because you want to win a nice prize!
The only thing you need to do to enter the competition is to advertise Kaizers. Then you should send a short report, a screenshot, photo, link or whatever to win@kaizers.konzertjunkie.de. The best entry will win a surprise package full with Kaizers stuff, so it is definitely worth the effort! Last date for entries is April 27, 2008.
